Celebrating Our Second National Week of Prayer & announcing 2026 Dates

Dear, Leaders and Partners in Prayer

It's been a month since we collectively hosted the United Kingdom’s second National Week of Prayer. Congratulations and a heartfelt thank you to each of you for your vital role in uniting those around you to exalt the name of Jesus and for actively bringing heaven to earth as we celebrated our oneness in Him. And now, drumroll…..

Please mark your calendars for the 2026 National Week of Prayer

10th - 18th October

We look forward to an even grater move of prayer across the UK, with a year to plan!

Reflecting on the highlights of this year, over 250 gatherings took place across the UK, with more than 100 organisations, schools, individuals, prayer networks, and businesses pledging their commitment to call for nationwide prayer. Together, we witnessed thousands lifting their voices in faith, seeking and trusting Father God for transformation across the British Isles.

We want to hear from you!

While we may not yet see a fulfilment of answers to all our prayers, Revelation reminds us that right now in the Throne room “the prayers of God’s holy people are being collected in golden bowls brimming full of sweet incense” (Revelation 5:8). God’s Word also reveals that the prayers of the saints are pivotal to how His plans for the world will move forward (Revelation 8:1-5) in these days.

Here’s A Brief Summary Of Our Journey — 2025 Highlights

  • Over 100 organisations and churches hosted various gatherings, including night vigils and prayer walks, across the British Isles. (This excludes individual-led gatherings). This year we had Bear Grylls join our call to pray, as well as the might of Christians in Media, the Christian Medical Association, Christian Vision, Church of England, the Defence Christian Network, the Eternal wall of Answered Prayer, Evangelical Alliance, Premier Radio, Spring Harvest, Transform Work UK, YouVersion and many more sector leaders making midday prayer calls pack a punch! As a modern day Ecclesia, using all the platforms and meeting places. we exercised our legislative authority in a renewed wave, and it was good!

  • These organisations amongst many others, committed to actively promoting the prayer movement within their networks, creating a grassroots momentum that transcended our efforts alone and released the National Week of Prayer committee to focus on coordinating prayer across the British Isles. We are so grateful to all our partners!

  • Over 250 registered gatherings were reported (and likely many more unrecorded), including many organised by the NWoP Committee. In Westminster, a profound 'Service of prayer for the United Kingdom' was held in The Royal Military Chapel (The Guards' Chapel). In this historic place of worship located between Downing Street and Buckingham Palace, the name of Jesus was lifted up over the nation. Our worship was led by the legendary Graham Kendrick and prayers were offered by notable leaders from the City of London, politicians, and sector leaders from across the UK. The deep sense of ecumenical unity was underlined in a blessing delivered by senior representatives from the Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant churches.

  • We exceeded our target of 70 significant places with gatherings across all four UK countries, the Isle of Man, Jersey, and discreetly arranged prayer meetings in departments across Whitehall, Stormont, Holyrood, and previous revival sites like Ffald Ye Brenin, the Hebrides, Lindisfarne and many more…Praise God!

  • The events received coverage from various new media outlets, as we made a decision to open out publicity to mainstream as well as Christian news. We are grateful to BBC Radio London, UCB radio, Premier Radio, GB News, the Tammy Peterson podcast, the Tim Farron podcast for spreading the word and calling the nations to prayer with us!

  • Our newsletter subscriber base grew to a total of 1,200 active subscribers, with an impressive 57% open rate on over 18,000 emails sent.

  • From June 1 to September 17, 2025, our website attracted 24,000 visitors, with our videos on social

Our 2026 Goals

  • We plan to hold a lessons-learned workshop to inform next year’s rollout.

  • Setting a date for the 2026 National Week of Prayer was a key priority, allowing us to provide early notice to churches, organisations and the King, who we are keen to involve next year.

  • We aim to streamline the process for those who indicated that they would like to contribute financially, while ensuring that the burden of backend support is shared more equitably among volunteers.

Your continued support and dedication are invaluable as we move forward. Thank you for being part of this Kingdom adventure.
