Volunteering with NWoP is an opportunity to sow into a movement crying out for God's Kingdom to break through across the nation. Whether your strengths are technical, creative, or organisational, your contribution helps strengthen and expand what God is doing through this gathering of the remnant.

We are looking to fill five volunteer roles for 2026. Each one plays a vital part in making the National Week of Prayer possible.

THE ROLES

Volunteer roles open for 2026

  • ABOUT THE ROLE

    This role supports the day-to-day technical and web operations of NWoP. You'll work closely with the core team to keep the website updated, troubleshoot issues, and ensure everything runs smoothly in the lead up to and during the week itself.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Maintain and update content on the NWoP Squarespace website

    • Support the team with any technical queries or issues

    • Help manage forms, registration pages and embedded tools

    • Assist with basic CSS/code customisations as needed

    • Be on-hand during NWoP week (10–18 October) for increased support

    TIME COMMITMENT

    ±4–6 hours per week, with a higher commitment in the lead-up to and during NWoP week (10–18 October 2026).

  • ABOUT THE ROLE

    This role supports NWoP's email communications — from drafting newsletters and updates to managing subscriber lists and monitoring engagement. You'll help ensure the NWoP community stays connected and informed throughout the year.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Draft and send regular email newsletters and updates

    • Manage and segment the NWoP mailing list

    • Monitor open rates and engagement, suggesting improvements

    • Respond to general enquiries sent to the contact inbox

    • Collaborate with the social media and comms team on messaging

    TIME COMMITMENT

    ±3–5 hours per week, with flexibility depending on campaign periods and announcements.

  • ABOUT THE ROLE

    Help grow NWoP's presence across Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. You'll create content, manage posting schedules, engage with the community and help tell the story of what God is doing across the nation through NWoP.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Plan and create content for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube

    • Manage a regular posting schedule using a content calendar

    • Engage with comments, messages and community responses

    • Support live coverage during NWoP gatherings and events

    • Assist with YouTube uploads, thumbnails and channel management

    • Track analytics and report on growth and engagement

    TIME COMMITMENT

    ±5–8 hours per week, increasing during campaign periods and during NWoP week itself.

  • ABOUT THE ROLE

    This role is responsible for collecting, organising and preparing video content submitted from gatherings across the UK. You'll work with raw footage and clips sent in by hosts and participants, helping to curate and prepare them for sharing.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Collect and organise video submissions from gathering hosts

    • Basic editing and formatting of clips for social media and YouTube

    • Manage a central video library and naming convention

    • Coordinate with the social media team on what content to use

    • Produce short highlight reels from NWoP week footage

    TIME COMMITMENT

    ±4–6 hours per week, with peaks during and immediately after NWoP week (10–18 October 2026).

  • ABOUT THE ROLE

    This is one of the most central volunteer roles at NWoP. You'll support the coordination and administration of gatherings across the UK — from registrations and logistics to communicating with hosts and keeping everything on track in the lead up to the week.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Process and manage gathering registrations as they come in

    • Communicate with gathering hosts — sending confirmations, resources and updates

    • Maintain accurate records of all registered gatherings and contacts

    • Coordinate logistics support for centrally organised events

    • Support the core team with scheduling, planning and admin tasks

    • Be highly available during NWoP week for real-time admin support

    TIME COMMITMENT

    ±7–10 hours per week, increasing significantly in the weeks leading up to and during NWoP week (10–18 October 2026). This is the highest-commitment volunteer role.
