Assembly Pack - Reaching 100k UK children

Introducing the Schools Assembly Pack, inspired by the vision of the National Week of Prayer 2025 to see 100,000 children praying in schools across the British Isles.

What is National Week of Prayer?
The National Week of Prayer is a united call backed by Bear Grylls for Christians across the UK and British Isles to seek God together through prayer and worship. Born out of a cross denominational partnership in 2024, it mobilises churches, individuals, and communities of all kinds to humbly pray for spiritual awakening and transformation in our nation. In 2025 (6–14 September), we run and one again, expectant, united, and hungry for more prayer particularly involving children and young people.

Created in partnership multiple organisations Spring Harvest, Church of England, Catholic schools,  24-7 Prayer, TryPraying, Christians in government, London City Mission,

and songwriter Chip Kendall, these free resources feature a message from Bear Grylls and other about the National Week of Prayer 2025, the high-energy song video “Let’s P.R.A.Y”* and include everything schools need to run an inspiring, hope-filled assembly. It’s designed to help children and young people discover what prayer really is: how to talk to God, how to listen, and how faith can shape their everyday lives. Perfect for schools during the autumn term, it’s a ready-to-go way to engage young hearts and minds, as they explore faith in God and the power of prayer.*The P.R.A.Y. acronym is used with kind permission of Pete Greig from his book How to Pray: A Guide For Young Explorers (Hodder 2022).To read the trypraying youth booklet, click the following link https://booklet.trypraying.org/en-gb/youth To read the trypraying children's booklet, click the following link  https://booklet.trypraying.org/en-gb/childrenVisit us here https://tryprayingyouth.org/ to order more resources.
